Run or Walk the "Homestretch for Heroes" 5K course through the grounds of Arlington International Racecourse and finish your last 1/2 mile on the actual racetrack. Experience the poly-track surface, rolled and packed for runners. The race will be called by John Dooley and there will be a live call to post as the starting gates open (race begins) at twilight, 6:30 PM.
Tuesday, August 8th at 6:30pm
- FIRST 500 registrants receive a special race tank top!
- Finish on the Track!
- “Win”, “Place” and “Show” awards will be presented to the top 3 male and female finishers.
- Receive one beer (must be 21)

*In person registration available at packet pickup and race day 5pm-6:15pm.
*Parking is free. Spectators are admitted free. Concessions available after the race.
A Water station will be located along the course. This race is professionally timed.
NO STROLLERS OR DOGS ALLOWED. No refunds will be issued for any reason. All participants must finish in less than ONE hour.
NOTE: Once online registration is closed, you may still register at packet pickup or on race day between 5:00pm- 6:15pm

Packet Pickup
We highly recommend that you pick up your t-shirt and bib PRIOR to race day.
You may pick up your bib and shirt during at runners high ‘n tri located in Arlington Heights at 121 W. Campbell St. on Saturday, August 5th during store hours or Monday, August 7th between 3:00-6:30pm.
You may also pick up your packet on race day (August 8th) starting at 5:00pm and no later than 6:15pm. Go to the Pre-Registered Runners line.
