Firecracker Run/Walk

On behalf of the Eagle Ridge Recreation Department, we would like to take this opportunity to invite you to participate in Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa’s Firecracker 5K Run/Walk; 10K Run and Kids Sparkler Sprint!

The race will be held Friday, July 3 with the Kids Sparkler Sprint to start at 8:00 a.m. and the 5K/10K to start at 8:10 AM. Pre-Register by June 16th to be guaranteed race shirt/size.

Race day registration is open at 7am.

The race will be start and finish at the Eagle Ridge North Golf Pro Shop.

Award Categories

Awards in the 5K/10K will be given to the first place overall male and female finishers and the top two male and female finishers in age groups: 19 and under, 20-34, 35-49, 50 and up.

All Sparkler Sprint participants will receive a Finisher's Ribbon!

Honoring our Veterans

Proceeds from this year's event will go to Honor Flight of Dubuque

Honor Flight of Dubuque and the Tri-States is a non-profit organization created solely to honor veterans living in Northeast Iowa, Southwest Wisconsin, and Northwest Illinois for all their sacrifices. We transport our heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect on their memorials.

Of all of the wars in recent memory, it was World War II that truly threatened our very existence as a nation and as a culturally diverse, free society. Now, with so many World War II, Korean, and Vietnam veterans dying each day, our time to express our thanks to these brave men and women is running out.
