Husky Hustle 2018

Homestead Elementary School's Husky Hustle is a fantastic way to encourage exercise and build community! Are you looking for a fun 5K or 1 mile run or walk experience? Hustle with us!

5K Course

This flat and fast timed USATF 5K course takes you through the Homestead neighborhood, Wheatland Park, and uses the FVPD bike trail. Water will be available at the 1 and 2 mile markers.

*Awards:  

• Overall first place male and female finishers in the 5K will receive a trophy.  Overall first place male and female 14 and under will receive a trophy.
• 5K age groups, male and female, 1st-3rd place will receive a medal: 5 & under, 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+

1 Mile Course

The one mile course takes you through the Homestead neighborhood and uses a scenic, tree-lined bike path. This race is clock timed. All runners will receive a bib number. This race is ideal for younger children with or without a parent.

• Overall first place male and female finishers, 14 and under, will receive a trophy.  
• 1st-3rd place will receive a medal: 5 & under, 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-14

Childcare

Childcare is available free of charge for racers.

T-Shirts

Official race t-shirts are guaranteed to those who register by April 22, 2018.

Packet Pick-Up

Pick up for PRE-REGISTERED runners will be at Homestead Elementary School on Friday, May 4, from 6:30-7:30pm.

RACE DAY pick up for ALL RUNNERS will take place Saturday beginning at 7am.

Parking

Limited parking will be available at Homestead Elementary until 7:30am. Street parking is available on Providence, Lansdale, Grand Ridge Circle, Fairmont, etc. PARKING IS NOT ALLOWED on Hillsboro Blvd or Middlebury Drive.

Please Note:

Walkers and runners with baby joggers or strollers ARE allowed, but they must start behind the runners. Bikes, skates of any kind, scooters, and skateboards are prohibited.
