About Erika's Lighthouse
Erika’s Lighthouseis a local not-for-profit, located in Winnetka, IL. They are dedicated to educating and raising awareness about adolescent depression, encouraging good mental health and breaking down the stigma surrounding mental health issues. They provide teen-oriented educational materials that allow educators to start healthy, open discussions about depression. The Counseling and Student Support Services Department at DGS has utilized Erika’s Lighthouse resources to teach students how to recognize the signs of depression and take the steps to get help for themselves or their loved ones. We are very excited to give back to this organization that does so much to help teens in our school and throughout the country!
