This chip timed Half Marathon and 10K Run will begin and end in the beautiful historic district of downtown Frankfort. The race will start at the Breidert Green in downtown Frankfort and go on the Old Plank Trail and run westward. After 2.7 miles of running on the scenic, tree-lined Old Plank Trail, the racers will turn off into the Hickory Creek Forest Preserve. The rolling hills of the forest preserve will provide a picturesque tour for the runners as they reach the halfway and turn-around point in the race. The runners will then proceed back through the forest preserve and to the Old Plank Trail for their final journey towards the finish line and the post-race awards on the Breidert Green. General Information

Course Time Limit: 
We require that participants be properly prepared and trained to complete the half marathon (13.1 miles) within 3.5 hours (16 min/mile pace).  Please note that after this time, participant support (e.g. aid/water stations, volunteers, course marshals, clocks, etc.) is NOT guaranteed, and you will be required to adhere to local pedestrian rules (move to curbsides, break down lanes, sidewalks, etc.).

The cutoff times are based on chip time, not gun time, in consideration of the additional time it takes the start
These cutoff times are also based on industry benchmarks; a majority of the races throughout the U.S. implement similar policies.

Pre Race Day Packet Pick-Up

Will be held on Friday, 9/13/19 at Riverside Healthcare, 23120 S. LaGrange Road, Frankfort from 3:30 PM until 7:30 PM.


Race Day Registration and Packet Pick-Up
5:30am-6:45am.  

Awards
All finishers will receive a medal.  
Top Male and Female Overall will receive a prize. 
Top Male and Female in the following age groups will receive a prize: 18 and under, 19-25, 26-32, 33-39, 40-46, 47-53, 54-60, 61-67, 68-74, 75 and up

Parking
FREE PARKING! Free parking is available at the parking lot on the East side of White St. at Elwood and at the lot on White St. and Kansas St. in downtown Frankfort. 

You must be registered by 9/3/19 to be guaranteed a race shirt/size!
