We are a nonprofit established to satisfy the growing need for Psychiatric Service Dogs and Emotional Support Animals among Veterans, children, and others afflicted with emotional and trauma syndromes.
Our organization provides resources, training, education, care, and support to the audiences we serve.
Canines 4 Comfort Provides Hope & Comfort for Veterans, Children and our Community
All proceeds from this event support the acquisition, training, and subsidy for our service dogs in training. Over the next twelve months, our goal is to match and place at least five dogs with a recipient, and our wait list is growing.

You must be registered by September 1, 2019 to be guaranteed a race shirt
No Pre race day packet pick up. Registration opens at 8:00 AM on race morning - Shelter C in Old School Forest Preserve!
Dogs and their owners are encouraged to enter the 2K Family Walk, not the 5K Run.
