Aurora Police Department and the Aurora Police Foundation Fund
The Aurora Police Foundation Fund was established in 1990 to provide financial resources for special projects outside the normally budgeted programs of the Aurora Police Department.
Since its establishment in 1990, the Police Foundation has awarded numerous grants to serve health and safety issues in the community.
The Aurora Police Foundation is governed by a board of directors comprised of local community volunteers.
Proceeds from the Aurora Police Donut Dash 1/2 K will help provide equipment and training resources for the police officers, staff and K-9’s at the police department to help the mission of APD to keep the families of Aurora safe.
