McHenry County Patriot Run
Veteran’s agencies benefitting from the run include:
- Financial Assistance
- VA Claims & Advocacy
- Transportation to the North Chicago VA Medical Center
- Referrals Assistance
- Shelters up to 45 homeless veterans at New Horizons, a 20-bed transitional-living center that debuted in 2001.
- Assesses about 300 participants for employment placement through a Homeless Veterans Reintegration Program that has been funded by the Department of Labor since 2009. Recently, the DOL recognized TLS as “a national role model . . . in HVRP operations.”
- Feeds 125+ low-income veterans and their families via a monthly mobile food pantry.
- Fields more than 9,000 inquiries about services at a Veterans Resource Center that provides mental healthcare to veterans and their families.
- Remains connected to at least a dozen New Horizons “graduates” through an aftercare program that offers case management and crisis intervention.

Your shirt will be available for pick up during our pre race day packet pick up days.
Below are details on running our virtual race!
- Run anytime between June 25 and June 27, 2021.

Follow these easy steps to prepare for your tracking:
 TRACKING STEPS 1. Download the ASICS Runkeeper™ app to your phone and create an account or scroll down to log into an existing account Once you have completed your distance in the app, save your workout and it will automatically post to Race Roster results. (This step must be followed from your mobile device) |
 VIEWING AND POSTING MANUAL RESULTS If you plan to record using another software or tracking device or post manually from what is recorded on your watch, simply head here and "Submit Virtual Result" between June 25 and June 27, 2021 . |

- To record with tracking on the ASICS Runkeeper™ app, you will need to run or walk with your phone or with a connected wearable (see instructions below)
- You do not have to track with these technologies, it is optional!
