To be guaranteed your race T-shirt by race day, registration must have been completed by June 8th. If you register after this date, your shirt may not be received until after the race. If so, you will receive an email notification with a date and time to pick up your shirt.
About Save-A-Pet:
Save-A-Pet is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and one of the largest no-kill cat and dog rescues and adoption center in Lake County, IL. We provide a safe haven for abused, neglected, injured, lost, or animals that have been saved from euthanasia. We never put a limit on the amount of care we provide for an animal and we never give up on them. Save-A-Pet offers rescued dogs and cats the greatest opportunity for a second chance. We take great pride in practicing our no-kill mission which has led to the successful adoption of more than 65,000 dogs and cats.

Event Info
5K Timed Run
Participants will receive a backpack with race materials, race t-shirt, a participation medal.
The first place overall finishers (male and female) will receive trophies.
The top three finishers for males and females within each age group will receive trophies.
6-Legged Fun Run/Walk
Bring your four-legged friend for exercise and socialization while supporting Save-A-Pet.
All 6-Legged Fun Run/Walk human participants will receive a backpack and a race t-shirt.
Pre Race Day Packet Pick Up Will take place on Friday, June 24 from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm at:

Race Morning Registration & Packet Pick Up: 7:00 am
