Join us for the second annual Glazin’ the Trail Family Fun Run/Walk. This donut-themed, family-friendly event will benefit the programs and services provided by Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet in Kankakee County.

Whether you're a seasoned runner aiming for the finish line or looking for a fun family outing, join us for a delightful morning along the scenic trails around Kankakee Community College and the beautiful Kankakee River.

We invite you to amplify the impact of your participation by seeking outside pledges or sponsor donations. Every dollar raised makes a difference in the lives of those in need in the Kankakee community.

This year, we have fun, new activities for kids, including a Munchkin Run (no registration necessary for Munchkin Run) and, of course, DONUTS!

WE ARE A FAITH-BASED ORGANIZATION PROVIDING SERVICE TO PEOPLE IN NEED AND CALLING OTHERS OF GOOD WILL TO DO THE SAME.

Glazin the Trail t-shirts will be given out to everyone that raises at least $25 in donations to support Catholic Charities Diocese of Joliet.

Catholic Charities Diocese of Joliet

Money raised from Glazin' the Trail will support the programs and services of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Joliet in Kankakee County. Catholic Charities serves the poorest and most vulnerable members of our community. Services in Kankakee County include a wide variety of programs to serve seniors and those with disabilities; homeless prevention; housing programs; mobile food pantries, and an annual Back to School Fair. Thank you for supporting Catholic Charities and believing in our mission!

Can't make it to our event in person? No problem - below are details on running our race at a location of your choice!

Run anytime the weekend of June 1 & 2, 2024.
Choose your own course and distance.
All Virtual participants will receive a race packet. Must be registered by 5/15/24 to have packet shipped to you.
If you raise $25 in donations you will receive a free Glazin the Trail t-shirt.

Follow these easy steps to prepare for your tracking:

TRACKING STEPS

1. Download the ASICS Runkeeper™ app to your phone and create an account or scroll down to log into an existing account
2. Follow this link and click "Start Virtual Run" button to add the Glazin' The Trail 5K event to your in-app virtual events
3. To record your run between June 1 & 2, 2024, simply click the flag icon in your app, select the Glazin' The Trail 5K event and follow prompts to start recording

Once you have completed your 5k distance in the app, save your workout and it will automatically post to Race Roster results.

(This step must be followed from your mobile

device)

VIEWING AND POSTING MANUAL RESULTS

If you plan to record using another software or tracking device or post manually from what is recorded on your watch, simply head here and "Submit Virtual Result" between June 1 & 2, 2024.

FAQS:
- To record with tracking on the ASICS Runkeeper™ app, you will need to run or walk with your phone or with a connected wearable (see instructions below)
- You do not have to track with these technologies, it is optional!
