Love Like Sean Foundation
About The Foundation
We established Love Like Sean Foundation to honor Sean. Sean was beloved by all who knew him and since his time on earth was much too short, we want to create a platform to spread and carry on his spirit and his love for others.
Our guiding principle is right there in our name – it is to Love Like Sean and to encourage others to do the same.
To that end, we will try to carry on Sean’s work of spreading joy and love in this world.
The Foundation will support individuals and programs which reflect and spread the values and characteristics that Sean embodied, such as supporting and providing:
- Scholarships for students who Love Like Sean, regardless of academic or athletic achievements or any other criteria
- Stuffed animals and books (two of Sean’s favorite things) to children, along with the message to Love Like Sean
- Schools which emphasize character development, kindness, and service to others as much as academic or athletic achievement
- Programs which help children and youth to develop positive social/relationship skills and/or foster a love of service to others
- Parent education programs aimed at creating happy and emotionally healthy home environments in which children can thrive
- Residential support services for foster/other vulnerable children and youth, which emphasize development of the whole child, not simply meeting basic physical needs
- Organizations which build safe and fun play spaces for children
