Tread Lightly 5K Run & 1 Mile Family Fun Walk #treadlightly5k

The Event

EcoPotential NGO will hold its annual Tread Lightly fundraiser, consisting of a 5K race and 1 Mile Family Fun Walk on June 7th at the Lake Fayetteville paved trail, starting at Veterans Park. Our event theme this year is renewable energy!
The Cause
EcoPotential NGO, 501(c)(3), strives to remove the roadblocks to sustainability. Therefore, our annual Tread Lightly fundraiser (#treadlightly5k) will help raise funds for sustainability grant to go to a local k-12 public school project in NWA.

Packet Pick-up

Participants can pick-up their race package at 8:30 a.m. on race day at the registration table. Make sure to bring a valid form of ID with you.

Please register online by June 6th to ensure that you receive a free t-shirt and water bottle!

Prizes

Medals will be given to top 3 overall male and female finishers and top male and female in the following age divisions in the 5K:

  • 13 and under
  • 13-17
  • 18-24
  • 25-29
  • 30-39
  • 40-49
  • 50-59
  • 60+

There will also be raffle prizes and an award for best dressed for best embodiment of the renewable energy theme.

Teams

There is a 10% discount for each team member that signs up as a team for the 5K race.

Awards wil go to the fastest team and largest team.
