2014 Girls Just Want to Have Fun 5K (3/22/14)

The Girls Just Want to Have Fun 5k has been designed specifically for women of all ages and running abilties. The race is set up to be enjoyed as an individual or group of women participating together. While we were shocked by the success (and size!) of the first year of this race, we expect year two to be even bigger and better!

This year we added a Mother/Daughter run option which allows moms to register their daughters (age 17 & under) for a discounted price. We love to see family units choosing health together!

Race Day

All runners will receive a cotton race t-shirt while supplies last. Register early to guarantee your shirt! Race day will include delicious refreshments (including several chocolate fountains!), all male volunteers, and awards after the race. We will also be giving awards for the ladies who dress up in the most fun and creative costumes! So grab your mom, daughter, sister or friend and we will see you all on race day!

Packet Pickup

Packet pick-up will be held on Thursday, 3/20, and Friday, 3/21, at Brazos Running Company (1667 South Texas Avenue) from 10am – 7pm for all Bryan-College Station residents. No exceptions to packet pick-up dates/times will be made for local residents. A friend for family member can pick up your packet with your permission.

Out of town runners can pick up their packets race morning, 6:30 – 7:30am at the race location. This is only for runners coming from out of town.
