Cumbee Center Whiskey Road Race

RACE-DAY REGISTRATION WILL BE OFFERED BEGINNING AT 7:00AM ON RACE DAY.


Overview:

Attracting runners from all over the CSRA, the Cumbee Center Whiskey Road Race has been an Aiken tradition for over 35 years making it the second oldest running race in the city. The USATF certified race course takes runners down Whiskey road through Aiken’s historic horse district then winds through scenic South Boundary Avenue. This beautiful course will challenge runners and walkers alike. The road race offers two events, the most popular 10k race and the 2 mile race for participants who wish a shorter, easier route.

All proceeds benefit the Cumbee Center to Assist Abused Persons.

Whiskey Road Race Entry Fees are non refundable.

  • Water stations at frequent intervals on 10k course (NO H20 station on 2mile)
Award Ceremony:
The award ceremony will be held around 9:30am. Awards will be given for overall winners and top three finishers in each age group. Overall winners are excluded from age division awards.

Race Timing:

Race timing will be provivded by Charlestowne Road Race Services. They use a combination of Jaguar and Race Mine equipment to chip time races. The minute you cross the finish line, your results will be online for your viewing. Visit Racemine.com on your phone to see your time!
Race T-shirts:

Plain cotton t-shirts are no more! Tech t-shirts are the way to go. This year's race t-shirts are made out of a extreme moisture wicking technology. Look cool, and stay cool while wearing your 2014 Whiskey Road Race t-shirt!
