The World-Beater All-Beach 10K is being rescheduled to Spring, 2015, due to the many conflicts - football games at all levels, high school and middle school soccer, cross country, etc. - which our runners have recently voiced to us.
Registration will be reactivated as soon as the date is established.
This is a 10K beach run which could establish new American Records for both the Individual winner (55:01) and winning 3-person relay team (42:18).
This year World Records for both Men and Women categories have been sanctioned by the Guinness World Records organization.
The entire course will be restricted to the beautiful, white sand beaches of Alabama.
Last year's winner, Marie Bader, established the inaugural Guinness World Record for the "Fastest 10KM Run on Sand" at 55:01.

Parking and Shuttle buses
Prior to the race we will have bus transportation beginning at the Finish Line Public Beach parking lot in Gulf Shores, and running to the Main Beach Pavilion – where it will pick up more riders – and take them on to the first relay station and the Starting line.
During the race the buses will pick up runners at the two relay points and deliver them to the finish line, or the Main State Park Beach Pavilion, whichever they prefer
After the race, the buses at the finish line will deliver runners to the Main State Park Beach Pavilion (the secondary parking area) only – and not go to the starting line.
All Relay Participant Parking should be staged at the Main Beach Pavilion of the Alabama State Park or the Gulf Shores Public Beach parking lot.
Suggested Relay Parking Scenario
1. Runner Three drops off Runners One and Two
2. Runner Three parks in the State Park Main Beach Pavilion lot, where the third relay leg begins
3. Runner Two ends his/her relay leg at the State Park Main Beach Pavilion, takes the car and picks up Runner One
4. Both meet Runner Three at the public beach parking inGulfShores, adjacent to the finish line
