Run for My Buddy is a 5km run/walk named after my mom who suffers with Chronic Lyme Disease. "My Buddy" comes from the name me and my mom would call eachother when I was growing up. I myself, suffer from this disease as well. I am very grateful to have encountered this journey because if I did not, my mom would not have the answer to her health issues. Run for My Buddy will be taking place on May 7th, 2016 at Island Lake Conservation area, in Orangeville ON. May is Lyme Disease awareness month. Let's raise awareness for my mom, myself and everyone else suffering from this invisible disease!
