Event Information
Main Event: USATF certified 5K course (J7 Sports Events); chip timed. Starts: by City Hall; runs thru neighborhood streets; 10 challenging hills; ends: First Bapt. Church parking lot. Course marked; split times: Mile 1 & 2; water station: half way. Davenport PD: route safety.
Kids Fun Runs- 1/4-Miler (Age 5 & under) and 1-Miler (Age 6-10); 1-Mile Walk.
T-shirts & finishers medals to all participants. (Shirts guaranteed to registrants by 8/20).
Awards: Male & Female- 1st Overall; 1st Masters (40+); 1st Grand Masters (60+); 1st, 2nd 3rd place division: Under 10; 10-14; 15-19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75 & over. Also: Overall 1st, 2nd & 3rd place male & female Fun Runs, Mile Walk, two-person Company teams, and four-person High School teams.
Awards Ceremony: takes place upon completion of all events (approximately 9:00 AM).
The difference here: CASH PRIZES totaling $1000.00, awarded as follows:
Overall Male & Female- 1st Place: $100.00; 2nd Place: $75.00; 3rd Place: $50.00
Overall Two-Man & Two Woman Company/Business team (21 & older): $125.00.
Overall Four-Boy & Four-Girl High School team: $120.00.
Fun Runs and Mile Walk: 1st Place Male & Female: $10.00.
We’ll also have a raffle for gift cards & gift certificates for running shoes & other goodies.
