The W8 Warkworth 8-Miler & 5K offer a chance to get out of the city and return to the roots of running with the W8 in Warkworth -- right in the heart of the Northumberland hills.
Enjoy the fresh autumn country air and take your feet for a tour along charming village streets and soft, natural rolling trails. This event offers something for all ages and abilities. The personal touch extends across the finish line, where fresh home-baked goodies will await.
Now in its 12th year, our races are well-organized by veteran runners and a community volunteer team. all to benefit The Bridge Hospice in Warkworth. The residential hospice cares for terminally ill people, and their families -- all at no cost.
