The First Annual Annapolis Royal 5K is taking place September 1st, 2019.
Immerse yourself in history as you race through beautiful and historic Annapolis Royal, founded in 1605!
There is plenty of history to run through, and a lot of excitement as you race past ocean views and enjoy the clean air and local hospitality.
Music, goodies, and plenty of running chatter to follow the race.
Prizes include:
- A curated package from local distiller Still Fired Spirits for the overall winners
- Coffee from local roaster Sissiboo Coffee and the Annapolis Brewing Company for age group winners
- And much more to come!
Every finisher receives a kick-ass collector's medal and SWAG!
And of course, linger a little longer to explore running- and walking-friendly Annapolis Royal at a slower pace, and enjoy the cafes and shopping.

The Route!
Route Description:
Race-day expo and registration is at the Annapolis Farmer's Market. The race starts at the warf, at the intersection of Drury Lane and St. George St., heads north on St. George St., right onto Chapel St., right onto St. Anthony St., left into the rail trail, right onto St. Patrick's Lane, left onto St. George St for a short out-and-back, then west on St. George St. to Fort Anne, through the Fort grounds, then back out onto St. George St. and finishes back at the warf.
