Cause: This year's RFI fundraising efforts will be applied to our Project Connect initiative. With this initiative, we are working to bring all six of our served counties (Randolph, Tucker, Barbour, Pocahontas, Upshur & Lewis) technology that will put tele-health abilities in each public school we serve. As everyone works to adapt to the changes COVID-19 has enforced upon us, we are looking for ways to continue to meet the mental health needs of children and adolescents in the communities we serve. Project Connect will allow students to be able to connect with their mental health team via secure video conference capabilities and allow them to continue to work toward and/or maintain positive mental health during what has become a very stressful time. Technology needed for this initiative includes laptops, speakerphones, head-sets and web cameras.
