My Story…
I am a long-time supportor of the SPCA of Texas but this is the first time I am participating in an active fundraising event on behalf of this much needed organization.
I will be walking with my rescue Pyr mix Vana (featured in my profile picture), who arrived at our home via Texas Great Pyrenees Rescue (as did her canine Pyr siblings, Winry & Shad previously). All are valued and loving members of our family.
We have in the past 35 years also adopted two "super mutts" from the SPCA of Texas, Raggs and Zambo (both now long departed). I know personally what a fantastic and far-reaching organization the SPCA of Texas is. And all animals in the greater DFW metroplex and surrounding counties (including Ellis County) are blessed to have them here, fighting each and every hour of the day on behalf of their welfare needs.
