5th Annual Black Hat Dash

Witches, ghosts and goblins are invited to the 5th annual Black Hat Dash at The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis—a 1 Mile & 5K frightfully, fun run and weirdly, wonderful walk for the whole family! Enjoy music, entertainment, giveaways, treats, a costume contest, and much more! Pricing includes a registration packet, a t-shirt, and a ticket to The Children's Museum Guild's 55th annual Grimnasium Haunted House.

Grimnasium Haunted House
All race participants receive free admission to the Grimnasium Haunted House. Participants will receive an electronic ticket which may be used during any operating hours of the Haunted House during the month of October.

Costume Contest
Trick-or-Treat inside the new Sports Legends Experience. Let our referees be the judge during our Legendary Costume and Stroller Decorating Contest!
We want to see your best Halloween attire! Come decked out and enter our Black Hat Dash costume contest.
- Best Family Halloween costume (top 3 will be awarded)
- Best decorated stroller (top 3 will be awarded)
To enter, visit the judge's table between 9:00 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. Winners will be announced immediately after the 1 Mile & 5k race.
