CANCELLED
St John Ambulance statement regarding cancellation of the Waterloo Marathon and Ed Whitlock Half Marathon
It is with regret that we are announcing the cancellation of the Waterloo Marathon and Ed Whitlock Half Marathon.
We have pledged from the start to be responsible with our decision process. We did everything possible to create a safe environment for our participants and volunteers in order to continue the event on April 26th. But as the situation continues to rapidly change - the right thing to do is to postpone it until next year.
Runners will be offered one of three Options:
- Full Refund or,
- Free Entry into next year’s race or,
- A Taxable Receipt for their Entry fee.
As you can imagine, this was NOT an easy decision to make for a number of reasons but absolutely necessary for a number of others.
Please contact Tony or Scott to get started with the process
