Founded by Ian Javes in 1996 (a few years behind the start of the Glasshouse Series in 1990), The Glasshouse 100 is the original Australian 'Miler' - it was the first and remains the longest running in 100 mile trail event in the country.
From Graham Medill through to Walter Brumniach and, during what might say it's best years, the 'Miler' drew the best - Deb Nicholl, Marita Eisler, Lisa Spink, David Waugh, Mike Le Roux and Brendan Mason among many. Though it wasn't just about the fastest - Bill Thompson remains the only runner (correct us if we're wrong) to have 12 finishes under his belt with Stuey Grills creeping up!
We would not have the trail running scene that we currently enjoy in Australia were it not for these events. It's our intention at AAA Racing & Coaching to ensure that it remains on the calendar and to enable a growth that is consurmate with it's stature and history - The bottom line? 'The House', the original 'Runner's Miler', is where it was, will be and should be where it's at. We aim to make it so and thank you for your support.
