Academics for All 5K Run/Walk

Proceeds from the race go to Alexsander Academy; a school for children with special needs such as learning disabilities, ADHD, autism spectrum disorders and other learning challenges. Alexsander Academy is a place where ALL children are challenged academically regardless of the differences they may have. At Alexsander Academy they get to know each student’s academic, social, emotional and sensory needs. The small environment allows them to help the kids be successful in a classroom environment, to help them gain self confidence and to build true and lasting friendships. At Alexsander Academy the students learn THEY CAN DO IT!!!

Registration is $27 for the 5K. All participants registered by 10/9 are guaranteed a great long sleeve race shirt in their size. Race day registrations are welcome starting at 7:30 am for $5 more. Shirts will be available while supplies last.

All participants registered by Oct. 9 are guaranteed a great race shirt, registrations after that will receive a shirt while supplies last.

We'll have great custom award medals for the overall men's & women's finishers, overall master's men & women, as well as the top 3 in each of the normal 5 year age groups starting at 10 & under and going through 75+.

Flat & fast and lake views the entire way.

The 5K will be a qualifier for the Five Star Championship race held in December. The number of qualifying slots depends on the number of participants. See race website for details.

All participants registered for the 5K or Fun Run will qualify for FREE entry into the Five Star Turkey Trot held on Thanksgiving Day. See race website for details.
