Raise money for Active in Muskoka

The Muskoka Mud Run and Snow Scamper Snowshoe Race are events hosted by Active in Muskoka, an organization founded by Andy Zeltkalns and Ellen Yeo. The goal of their organization is to raise funds for charity while promoting an active lifestyle. Over the last couple of years they have been working with Jeff DeWetering at Morrison’s Meadows to help Community Living South Muskoka develop the trails and facilities at this location.

Due to the efforts of the Mud Run participants, volunteers, and generous sponsors, Active in Muskoka has been able to donate $4500 to Community Living South Muskoka over the last two years. Last year Active in Muskoka also received a generous grant from the Ontario Winter Games Legacy Fund which helped them kick start their events and develop the trails at Morrison’s Meadows.

Active in Muskoka hopes to continue expanding its support for local charity and looks forward to making its’ events even bigger and better.
