Loop in the night! Watch the moon rise as you run along Colorado River State Park and Wildlife Preserve Area of the Corn Lake and Pear Park Sections - home to endangered fish and birds.
Wear your neon, glow in the dark and come hear the owls hoot, the coyotes howl and the crickets chirp.
Moonlight Miles will have aid stations fully stocked and manned. We'll have a midnight campfire for an old fashioned wienie roast - hot dogs, veggie dogs, brats, all the fixins, chips, soda, S'Mores fixin's and 3.2 beer (the only beer allowed in Colorado State Parks) will be provided. After your run, join your fellow runners for good times around the campfire as you roast your hotdog and S'mores and tell ghost stories, tall tales and fun times!
Half Marathoners will receive a unique finisher's medal and 10k runners will receive a unique pint glass. Pint glasses will be available for purchase and non-runners can purchase Campfire Tickets for $10.00.
Technical T-Shirts are no longer available for pre-order. However, there will be limited sizes available for purchase at Packet Pick Up for $10.00.
This is a fund raiser for the Cheryll Paull Breast Cancer Fight Fund and a portion of each registration will go directly to this fund. Additional donations are welcome.

Moonlight Miles
Welcome to the first night race to be held in Grand Junction, Colorado! The course encompasses 2 loops (Out and Back for the 10k) of the James M Robb Colorado River State Park Corn Lake and Pear Park Sections of the Riverfront trail. You'll traverse through protected wetlands areas and watch the moon rise over the Grand Mesa. The course will be lit every half mile with glow sticks and neon but this light will not be enough to light your way so head lamps and/or knuckle lights are required. Each runner is required to wear a safety vest and as much glow-in-the-dark or neon as you can fit on your body! Have fun with the course as you watch disembodied lights meander through the course while watching the stars twinkle and the moon shine.
This event is open to all walkers and runners of all abilities! All participants must wear a safety vest and head lamp or knuckle lights (not provided). Neon and glow in the dark are strongly encouraged!
The course will remain open for 4 hours from 8 pm to Midnight with full course support including manned and stocked aid stations, timing, port-o-pots, Honey Stingers Organic Energy Gel, Hydration and a good ole' fashioned wiener roast celebration party with hot dogs, veggie dogs, brats, all the fixin's, chips, fruit, soda and 3.2 beer (Colorado State Parks requires only 3.2 beer be allowed within its boundaries). Hunker around the campfire (well, BBQ pit) after your course and enjoy the time with friends, family and fellow runners with tall tales, funny experiences and ghost stories. Finish up with the flagship dessert for summer camping - S'mores - and rest well, with memories and stories to last a life time.
Each Half Marathon finisher will receive a unique Finisher's Medal and each 10k finisher will receive a custom Pint Glass.

Refund Policy
To produce a world class marathon, Starunner Enterprises must coordinate our efforts and plan well in advance, making it difficult and costly to make changes after registration. Medals, bibs, shirts and other items are ordered months before the race and purchased according to the original information provided during registration. As a result, and similar to other races in the industry, Starunner Enterprises does not refund or transfer entry fees. In addition, certain release forms and emergency content are specific to the individual participant. Transferring such information would be a liability to the participant and the event. Due to annual changes, an entry fee into this year’s race does not transfer to next year’s event. This policy applies to individuals with injuries, unexpected business, family emergencies, etc. Additionally, the fee is nonrefundable if the event is canceled due to the threat of or acts of God, weather, war, terrorism, disaster, earthquake, government regulation and/or for economic/financial reasons. Starunner Enterprises does not offer refunds, exchanges, rollovers, deferrals or transfers. Exceptions to this policy may be made on a case-by-case basis based on extenuating circumstances but exceptions are not guaranteed.
What is the weather policy?
The event may be canceled due to extreme weather that would cause safety concerns for participants and volunteers but generally will go on rain or shine. Decisions about weather closure will be made and announced through the website, social media, email and phone contact.
