As the largest annual fundraiser for Children’s TLC, the Groundhog Run has raised more than $4 million for children with special needs since its inception in 1982. The race is one of very few 5k races, and believed to be the only 100% underground sanctioned 10k race in the nation. With a consistent temperature of 65 to 68 degrees, the Hunt Midwest SubTropolis is the ideal venue for runners from all over the country to compete in this annual winter event.

About Children's TLC
Children’s Therapeutic Learning Center (Children’s TLC) provides three core programs that are individually tailored to help meet the needs of children with development delays, disabilities or medically fragile conditions. Our therapeutic preschool and outpatient therapy clinic, centrally located at 31st and Main, offer the most comprehensive team of teachers and therapists with convenient extended hours. We start working with children as early as birth, through our community-based services because we believe early intervention is the key to developing critical life skills.
