The Rare Charitable Research Reserve is Canada's largest urban greenspace, comprising over 900 acres of protected land at the confluence of the Speed and Grand Rivers in Waterloo Region. Its mission is to sustain the land for its ecological value and to provide unprecedented opportunities in ecological and cultural research, education, and passive recreation.
