Raise money for Garrett Mentors, Inc.
Garrett Mentors provide 80-100 children in the Garrett County, MD Public Schools with caring, adult role models serving as mentors. Children are referred by their counselors and teachers for various reasons. Mentors meet with their children once a week during lunchtime at the school. Mentors are friends, listeners, and provide guidance for children with various individual needs. We also provide several out of school bonding experiences for the children and mentors throughout the year. Mentoring helps with academic, social, and emotional needs.
