COME OUT & JOIN US FOR THE INAUGURAL

LITTLE BIG DREAMS 5K RUN/WALK

Online Registration is now closed.   You can still sign up on the morning of the event beginning at 8 AM.

Hamilton Lightning is a 10 year-old travel baseball team based out of the Hamilton Little Lads Baseball league. As a non-profit organization founded in 1948, Little Lads is Hamilton, New Jersey’s oldest youth baseball league, and one of the oldest leagues in state, as well as the United States.  The Lightning team started as 8 year-olds in 2013 and has played in tournaments held in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Maryland.

Thinking ahead, our boys have set their little league goal to play in the world-renowned Cooperstown’s Dreams Park Tournament of Champions in August, 2017. The week-long tournament is limited to 12 year-old youth baseball teams and is typically seen as a capstone tournament for graduating little league players. Due to the expense necessary to enter the tournament, we as a team have started our fundraising efforts to meet our goal in two years.  The cost of the Cooperstown tournament, including room and board for the week is $895 per player and coach. All the money raised from our 5K run events will be put towards our Cooperstown trip.  Thank you for supporting our team and our boys’ Little Big Dreams.
