We know you’re used to seeing Scarlet & Grey everywhere, but what about neon? Light up Central Ohio during an evening of family fun, where you can take part in a 4 mile or 1-mile fun run dressed to the hilt with glow sticks and all things bright and shiny. Flash and sparkle your way around the course, cross the finish line in celebration, and then get your groove on at the post-run light up the night dance party!
The 4 mile run will be timed and 1-mile fun run will be untimed, so if you want to take your time and soak in the evening, you won’t have the pressure of a clock to beat. Each entrant will receive a glow-in-the-dark T-shirt, a glow stick, and access to a pre and post-race dance party.
Partial proceeds from the event benefit the Burn Fund at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

About the OSUWMC Burn Fund
The Ohio State Wexner Medical Center Burn Center is a verified burn center. Verification designates that we meet the highest standards of care for burn patients as determined by the American Burn Association. We provide a unique program that allows many experts to care for burn patients in an organized collaborative environment. Verification is such a unique designation that currently there are only 3 verified burn centers in Ohio (Metrohealth in Cleveland, Nationwide Children’s Hospital and OSU). The OSU Burn Center is the only adult verified burn center in central Ohio and will treat patients all the way down to the Ohio River as far north as Lima, OH. We collaborate with many local and regional hospitals in treatment of burn patients. We collaborate with Emergency Medical Services (EMS) as needed and provide educational burn updates for free. We are the Regional Medical Coordination Center for any burn disaster in our central Ohio region and will be available to assist in any state wide or national burn disaster in conjunction with homeland security. We treat approximately 300 patients a year in the hospital and 740 patients were treated in our burn clinic last year.
