Start Time & Staging
The race will begin at 8:00 a.m. for both the 5K and the 10K. It will be a chip start, which means that timing starts immediately after a participant crosses the starting mat.
We encourage runners/walkers to make their way to the start line around 7:15 a.m. so you may hear pre-race announcements, opening words from the mayor, and our national anthem.
For those who are looking to register on race day, please allow additional time for registration. Our booths will be open to the public at 6:00 a.m.

Volunteers will also count toward a school’s participant number.
