If you have been looking for a triathlon that will challenge your whole family, then you have come to the right place! Run for God is proud to announce the 5th annual Dalton Parks Triathlon. This fast and flat course sits in the heart of Dalton, GA at the state of the art "Ronald Nix Complex" at James Brown Park. Although this race is relatively small in numbers, it has been growing each year due to its kid and beginner friendly format. With safety our number one concern, the entire course is closed to traffic at all times. So, whether you are a seasoned triathlete, or have been searching for an event to try your first, this race is for you! If you have ever been to another Run for God race, then you know that the atmosphere is nothing short of a National event!

Why do we wait for the last person to finish before handing out awards?
We get this question often, and we understand that some of you fast runners may be waiting a while before getting your award. But here at Run for God, we have decided that EVERYONE should experience that magical finish line experience no matter what their time may be. For this reason, we hope that you will hang around and help us cheer every runner in, and be inspired by those who just a short time ago were saying “I can’t” and are now saying “I did”.
Sticky and Pinky
Sticky and Pinky have been known to show up for some of our events. If they do, you won't want to miss them!
