My Story…
I have lived with chronic migraine for over 45 years. It has been so long that I do not know what it would be like to live any other way. It is truly a phantom menace. It can occur at any time...at a wedding, or in the aisle of a supermarket, on a sunny day or during a thunderstorm. Everyone who knows me, knows that I have migraines. As a parent, it saddens me even more to know that I have passed this unfortunate gene onto my children, Shana and Adam. Whether it is 20 migraines per year or 20 migraines per month, the throbbing pain is debilitating and life altering.
With your support and generosity, I am optimistic that a permanent and safe cure for this condition is around the corner. Thank you, Cathy, Jon, Adam, Shana and Eddie.
