BELLE RIVER 2016 BEACH BASH DASH 5K/ 10 MILER

Belle River Source for Sports and the Belle River Running Club proudly present the Beach Bash Dash on Saturday July 9th at the beautiful West Belle River Beach. Join us at the Beach for the 9th running of our popular summertime race. There will be a Kids 1K Dash, 5k walk, 5K run and a 10 Mile race. All proceeds to benefit the Community Support Centre of Essex County (Belle River Food Bank)
Registration is also available in person at Belle River Source for Sports. 481 Notre Dame, Belle River. Ont.
All events start and finish at the Lakeview Park West Beach, Belle River. the routes are along the North Shore beach roads, which parallel the shore of Lake St. Clair. Prizes will be awarded in all age groups for the 5K run, 5K walk and 10 Miler. Each participant in the 1K kid dash will receive a t-shirt and finisher medal. The first 300 participants to register for the 5K and 10 mile run and 5K walk will receive a pair of
Under Amour sandals and the popular BRRC finisher medal.
After the races, please hang around for some quality beach time. There will be a DJ kicking out the tunes, volleyball and sand bocce ball for the brave. Check out the nicest beach in Essex County and don't forget the park has a splash pad for the kids!
Grab the kids, grab a towel, pack a cooler and join us in Belle River for the Beach Bash Dash. Nothing is better than a day at the beach.
Lots of parking at the Belle River pier, walk across the Waterfront Trail bridge to get to the West Beach the morning of the race .

Charity

Proceeds from the Beach Bash Dash will be donated to the Communty Support Centre of Essex County (Belle River Food Bank). Please come out Saturday July 9th and participate in our communities premier running event.

Awards and Swag

**First 300 particpants to register for 5K run/walk and 10 mile run will receive the very popular BRRC finisher medal.

**Awards given to overall and age group winners for the 5K run, 5K walk and 10 miler .

**Kids that register for the 1K Dash will receive a t-shirt and Finisher medal.

Race Kit Pick-Up

Participants will be able to pick up their Race Kits on Friday July 8th at Belle River Source for Sports from 12:00pm - 8:00pm or the day of the race at the West Beach from 7:00am - 8:00am.

Lots of parking will be available at the Belle River pier (Lakeview Park). Please walk across the Waterfront Trail bridge, to the west beach .
