Raise money for The Julia Cekala Charitable Found
The Julia Cekala Charitable Foundation supports 100% of the maintenance and further development of “Julia’s Garden and Playground Complex”. The mission of our foundation is to support the health and wellness of our community through recreation, integration and education. This privately built and maintained playground and garden complex is located at the World War I Memorial Park in North Attleboro where guests can visit for free! We are honored that “Julia’s Garden” has become a popular recreation site and is visited by scores of people from many towns and cities each and every day.
Studies show that public parks create strong communities, promote integration, serve all age groups, provide exercise and promote health. Public park systems also develop strong communities by supporting local business and promote civic identity and pride.
