This race is a memorial to John Lawson, a Tamalpa Runner who, at 44, died suddenly of a heart attack in 2000.
The race will be held in China Camp State Park in San Rafael, CA.
We have designed a 4.20 mile course that is a slightly rolling course with approximately 1/4 mile on pavement with the rest of the course on fire road or single track trail.
Parking is extremely limited. Please carpool to the greatest extent possible. Almost all racers will have to park at the beach area parking lot, which is about 0.5 mile from the start. Again, please car pool.
