As many of you know, Halleck Creek Ranch has been many things to me over the years: As a youngster, HCR was a safe place for my friends and I to give back, learn about horses, and be part of a community. As a young adult, when I returned from Cal Poly and began working as the Program Manager, Halleck Creek became my extended family. And now, as their Interim Executive Director, Halleck Creek Ranch IS family. It's about family, about supporting one another, about accepting one another, and about making a difference in the lives of those who need it most. It's our 40th Anniversary this year, and in celebration of the past 24 years that I've been involved with HCR, I pledge to try to raise $2,400.
