Kids Triathlon

This is a Free, Non-Timed, Non-Competitive Event

All Participants will receive a Race T-Shirt, Race Number, Finishing Medal and BBQ to follow

Registration for the kid’s events is at 8:00 am, Races Start at 9:00 am

Please note there is no on-line registration for this event, just show up on race morning
Swim - Kids can use any Swim Aids they require
Bike - Trikes / Training wheels allowed; all participants must wear a helmet
Run – All running is done in the park
Note:
- Any age can participate in any distance, whatever they are comfortable with
- There are no separate age groups, just separate distances
- Parents are permitted to swim, ride or run with the kids

6:00 am - Transition opens to rack bikes
6:30 am - Registration / Race Kit Pick Up in the registration tent
7:45 am – Registration / Race kit Pick Up Closes
8:00 am - Athletes Meeting 8:00 am in the transition area
8:15 am - Races start at 8:15 am in this order;
8:15 am - Sprint 750m Swim, 20 k Bike, 5 k Run
8:30 am - Olympic 1.5k Swim, 40 k Bike, 10k Run
8:45 am - Try-A-Tri 200m Swim, 10k Bike, 2k Run
8:45 am - *Super Sprint 200m Swim, 10k Bike, 2k Run
* The Super Sprint is the same distance as the Try-A-Tri and is a Timed Event (the Try-A-Tri is Not Timed)

Swim

For everyone’s safety, The swim is parallel to the shore and will be as close to the shore as we can set it up
-
The swim course will be a loop course - one loop for the Sprint, two for the Olympic and a partial for the Try-A-Tri / Super Sprint
Bike
-
This is also a loop course to Lewis Road and back
-
One loop for the Sprint (out and back) and two loops for the Olympic (out and back twice)
-
Try-A-Tri / Super Sprint will be 5km out and 5km back, this is to the Church
-
The roads / asphalt are in excellent condition
Run
-
This is a loop course as well and you stay on the beach road and use the trails at the end of the beach road

Sprint is one loop, up and back, and the Olympic is two loops up and back, the Try-A-Tri / Super Sprint is one Km up and one Km back

The run for all events is “Pancake Flat” and the trails offer full shade
