My Story…
Check out this heart throb, Sofia Montoya, 9 year old cardiac arrest survivor! Under one year ago Sofia suffered a cardiac arrest and received life saving CPR. This experience rippled through her tight-nit community in Half Moon Bay and changed Sofia's life and her family 's life forever. Sofia's heart is special in many ways and this remarkable young lady is on a mission to make our community safer by raising awareness about genetic heart disease, encouraging CPR training and facilitating the placement of lifesaving AEDs in communities. Please support me as I rally behind Sofia by participating in the Stanford Racing Hearts 5k/10k walk-run. This event will raise awareness about heart disease and raise funds that directly benefit heart patients like Sofia. Here are three things you can do today: 1.
