My Story…
I'm honoured to participate in this year's Sheraton Celebrity Dance Off!
I have been a passionate advocate for mental health awareness, prevention, and wellness since losing my father to suicide in 1994. Given that around 80% of mental health issues in adulthood stem from childhood trauma, the newly formed CACAC is going to play an incredible role in reducing the number of future mental health cases, while providing a framework for organizations like the CASASC to optimize their resources and best assist those in need. I believe we have an opportunity to truly alter the course of history with this project, and the number of suicides in our community over the past few years indicate the timing couldn’t be more critical.
On behalf of the children and families to be served by the CACAC and CASASC, I sincerely thank you for your donation and support on this journey. My goal is to set a new standard for funds raised and, along with my partner Jody, put on a show to remember!
