A clinic devoted to teaching you the skills to build your confidence in open water swimming. The session will address the unique challenges of open water swimming, give you experience in practicing new skills and provide a supportive environment for novice athletes. Sessions are 1-1.5 hr
Topics covered in the clinic will include:
*starts
*sighting
*turning buoys
*positioning
*drafting
*releasing a cramp
*treading water
Time will be alloted to practice all skills in an OWS setting with kayak support and PFDs provided for novice swimmers
