Camp Sweet Life enhance the lives of young people with Type 1 Diabetes and their families by providing fun opportunities for learning, connecting, and sharing. Camp Sweet Life is the only camp for kids with diabetes in Southern Minnesota and the goal of camp is for kids to have outdoor fun just like any other kid. Camp Sweet Life Adventures, Inc. also provides seasonal activities, youth development, parental development and other support activities for families with a child that has Type 1 Diabetes. Type 1 Diabetes affects every aspect of a child’s life from the way they eat and sleep to the way they learn and plan. Camp Sweet Life aims to provide safe, medically supervised outings so children can experience camp, outdoor fun and social activities just like any other child.
