My Story…
Welcome to my pledge page. I am using a picture of my father, William Samuel Matthews, this year. He died in 1987, 30 years ago of Lung Cancer. He was only 67 years old. Many new methods in treating cancer have been discovered. When he had a lung removed, there was 95% chance cancer would return within 2 years. That's exactly what happened. Please donate so more discoveries can happen and people can live longer, better lives. I miss him every day. Thank you for contributing to my goal. I will enter any donation in a chance to win a 40", 32" or 19" TV. Drawing will be in early July. Thank you again, together we are making a difference. I also am raising money in memory of Jeanne Obergfell Armbruster, a teacher and friend who passed away last year. She was an awesome woman!
