DQM race kits provide a compassionate opportunity to give back by filling the shoe boxes with much needed hygiene items that are distributed to homeless and street youth aged 24 years and younger in Oshawa. Kits of hygiene items can be returned on race day or directly to centre after race day.

Line up at the finish line with the pace bunny who holds the sign with your time. If you are doing well during your race, try to catch up to the next bunny!
Parking Map - Please park at your event start area and take the shuttle back to your car.
There are no significant changes to last year's route. If you plan on running the route in advance of race day, look for the blue markings on the pavement for the KM markers. On race day signs will be placed along the route to measure each kilometre. The route is accurate to the metre using precision GPS technology.
The start line elevation is approximately 106 m and the finish line elevation is 81 m for a net downhill race course.

Did you know that $150 will purchase 38 meals for one hungry youth at The Refuge?
It could provide 10 art classes to a hurting young person.
Or it could purchase 93 showers for someone who feels worthless.
You will provide kindness and hope for a better future for a street youth here in Oshawa when you raise pledges for The Durham Quarter Marathon.
The rest is EASY:
Receive points based on your placement by participating in Durham Region's best race events.

Participants are permitted to participate with leashed dogs on both the quarter and eighth race courses. Dogs must be on a leash. Those running or walking with dogs must begin the race behind ALL participants in the respective race events as described above.
