My Story…
I am participating in this event to raise awareness of how disabling migraines can be and the lack of treatment options for migraine. Miles for Migraine is a small organization that focuses on building a community for migraineurs, advocating for more money for migraine research, and contributing to research efforts.
Migraine is not “just a headache”. Migraine is the 3rd most prevalent and 6th most disabling disease in the world. In the United States, more than 37 million people suffer from migraine.
