My Story…
Hi! My name is Jack. I am racing in my 2nd triathlon for Secret Meals for Hungry Children. Last year I learned that there are many kids who live below the poverty line in Alabama. Each week these kids rely on free and reduced breakfasts and lunches. They don’t have a lot of food to eat on the weekend and often return to school on Monday hungry. Thanks to Secret Meals, each Friday a child will receive a food pack to help them through the weekend.
Last year I set a goal to raise $140 to feed one child for the entire school year. Thanks to your generosity, you helped raise $800, enough to feed almost SIX kids! It helped me believe kids and community can help make a difference. This year I am setting a new goal, $840. I know it is a big goal but I believe that together, we can do our part to help end child hunger.
