Tuscaloosa Kids Triathlon 2017

You’re invited to take part in the fifth-annual Tuscaloosa Kids Triathlon. This event is a great way to promote healthy, active lifestyles for kids – while supporting a great cause, Secret Meals For Hungry Children.

We encourage children of all athletic abilities to participate. Race distances are very beginner-friendly. Helmets are required and flotation devices and training wheels are allowed.

The Tuscaloosa Kids Triathlon is sanctioned by USA Triathlon ensuring that all standards for your child’s safety are met. A USA Triathlon Membership is required. A one-day USAT event license fee of $10.00 is required, unless you are already a USAT member or attend the FREE Kids’ Tri USAT clinic on Thursday, April 20 from 5 - 6:30 p.m. at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater. This clinic is availabel to kids ages 7-15. Register for this event here.

5-7 Swim: 25yds Bike: 1 mile Run: .25 mile

8-10 Swim: 50yds Bike: 2 miles Run: .50 mile

11-13 Swim: 100yds Bike: 4 miles Run: .75 mile

14-16 Swim: 150yds Bike: 6 miles Run: .75 mile

Families with more than one participant now have the opportunity to receive a $5 discount for additional siblings registered. Be sure to register all participants under one transaction to receive this discount.
