Join us for an afternoon of bicycling fun and fellowship on Sunday April 2nd to honor our Vietnam Veterans.
Riders of all ages and experience are welcome as we will offer four different courses five miles in length. Feeling like a challenge? Ride all four courses for a twenty-mile ride through the beautiful neighborhoods that comprise the city of Huntington. Combine as many routes as you would like for distances of five, ten, fifteen or twenty miles. There will also be the TAPS (Thomas Aquinas Parker) fifty-mile ride to honor the fiftieth anniversary of Thomas's death in Vietnam.
Younger riders and anyone looking for a more relaxed pace and distance are encouraged to explore one of three new HARTA trails along the river greenway.
All rides will start and finish at Schenkel Station.
For more information about the TAPS monument and about Thomas Aquinas Parker, please visit the TAPS Facebook page.
All proceeds from the ride will go to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial to be dedicated on Veterans Day 2017.
